Personal settings

The Settings page brings together your language, timezone, time format, and theme preferences.

Opening Settings#

1. Click your avatar or initials in the top-right corner of the screen.
2. Select Settings from the dropdown menu.

You can also open Settings from the My Account page.

Color Mode#

Choose Always Light, Always Dark, or Same as System. Same as System follows your computer’s light or dark mode setting.

Language#

Choose English, Deutsch, Français, Español, Русский, or Português (Brasil) for your interface and notifications.

Your language applies after saving. You choose it separately for each company’s profile. It does not translate user-written content.

Timezone#

Choose the timezone used to display local times.

If you have not saved a timezone, Operately uses your browser’s timezone and shows it in this field. Saving other settings keeps that browser fallback. Choosing a different timezone and saving sets your timezone preference.

Time format#

Choose Automatic, 12-hour clock, or 24-hour clock. Automatic follows your browser’s locale.

Timezone determines which local time is shown. Time format determines how that time is displayed. Your clock format applies even when Operately uses your browser’s timezone.

Note

To update your name, job title, or manager, use Profile. To change email delivery preferences, select Notifications from your avatar menu. See Notification settings overview.
