Change your email

You can change your account email while signed in. You’ll need access to both your current and new inboxes. The change applies to all your companies.

1. Open your avatar menu and select Password & Security.
2. Click Change email.
3. Enter your New email and click Send verification code.
4. Enter the six-character code sent to your current inbox, then click Verify current email.
5. Enter the separate code sent to your new inbox, then click Confirm email change.

Your old email stays active until you confirm. You’ll remain signed in, and Operately will notify your previous address.

If a code expires#

Codes are valid for up to five minutes. Check your spam folder or click Resend code. Choose Use a different email to change the address, or Start again if your current-inbox verification has expired.

Signing in afterward#

• For email sign-in, use your new email and existing password.
• For Google sign-in, use a Google account with the new email address.
